FAQ

Everything you need to know.

01What is The Sovereign Summit?

Two days in Miami Beach where AI, Freedom, Energy, and Bitcoin stop being separate conversations and start being one. Built for people who already sense these things are connected but haven’t had a room where all four are treated as equals.

We do it in a resort, not a convention center, on purpose. When everyone is staying, eating, and drinking in the same place, the conference doesn’t end when the session does. That’s the design, not a happy accident.

What’s inside:

  • A big open main stage
  • An expo floor with companies and organizations that care about sovereignty
  • A Workshops Area with breakout sessions and hands-on workshops
  • An Open Source Area for nonprofits, community builders, and small businesses
  • VIP Areas exclusively for VIP Summit Pass holders

Come away with a clearer picture of where the world is going, the people making it happen, and connections that last well beyond the event.

02Who is this for?

For people who are curious to learn more about the world around them and better understand how quickly things are changing.

Builders, founders, investors, and researchers. People who work in energy, AI, finance, Bitcoin, or policy and sense that what’s happening in the other rooms matters to their room too. People who are new to Bitcoin and want the honest version, not the sales pitch. People who have been in Bitcoin for years and want to think bigger.

You don’t need to be an expert in all four pillars. You just need to be genuinely curious about at least one of them and open to where the others take you.

03How is this different from other Bitcoin events?

Most Bitcoin conferences start with the right idea and drift. Sponsors come from finance and trading, so the program fills up with price predictions, ETF panels, and institutional adoption talk. It’s not wrong, but it’s not the whole picture. The soul of Bitcoin -- sound money, energy, freedom, individual sovereignty -- gets crowded out by whatever fills the most seats and sells the most sponsorships.

Size and venue matter more than most organizers admit. Too small and it’s a meetup. Too big and it’s a trade show with fifteen competing stages and a convention hall that swallows the program. We chose an integrated resort and a single stage on purpose. The format forces focus. The setting keeps everyone in the same place, long after the last session ends.

The right size. The right venue. The right topics. Curated enough to be worth your time, big enough to matter.

04This is the first year. Why should I trust it?

Fair question. Inaugural events live or die on curation, not scale, and curation is exactly what we are obsessing over: the speakers, the venue, the format, the sponsors, the crowd.

The honest answer is that you can’t fully trust a first edition until it happens. What we can tell you is who is involved, what we’re building, and why we think it’s worth showing up for. The speaker lineup, the venue, and the program will speak for themselves as they come together. Follow along and make your own call.

What we will promise: every sponsor in the room is here because they’re aligned with what this conference stands for. We chose them carefully, and that same standard applies to every part of the program.

05Are breakfast and lunch provided?

Yes. Food and beverages will be available throughout the summit, so you can stay energized and focused on the experience.

With approximately 1,000 attendees on property, meals will be designed to make pickup quick, convenient, and easy to enjoy between sessions. All Summit Pass holders will have access to a light grab-and-go breakfast each morning, a boxed lunch available at designated pickup points, and a selection of complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. Cash bars will also be available on site for alcoholic beverage purchases.

VIP Summit Pass holders will enjoy an elevated food and beverage experience. We are currently exploring upgraded lunch options, such as an upscale buffet, based on venue logistics and availability. If a boxed-lunch format is required, VIP lunches will still feature a significantly upgraded menu. VIP guests will also receive complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with access to a dedicated bar in the VIP area.

We will share final menus, bar locations, and additional details as the summit approaches. Keep an eye out for updates.

06What’s in a Summit Pass?

Full access to both days of the summit. Every mainstage session, the expo floor, the Workshops Area, and the Open Source Area. Food and drink on site during summit hours, including a light breakfast and boxed lunch.

The Summit Pass is the full conference experience, with the exception of VIP Areas and VIP-only events. If you’re here for the ideas, the sessions, and the people, the Summit Pass gets you everything you need.

The Saturday Summit After Party is currently the only official side event open to Summit Pass holders. More side events will be announced as we get closer to February.

Grab your Summit Pass here.

07What does the VIP Summit Pass include?

Everything in the Summit Pass, plus a lot more. Reserved front-row seating. A dedicated VIP area on the 3rd floor for the duration of the summit. And three events that are the real reason people upgrade.

The Thursday Welcome Reception kicks the weekend off with only the VIPs before the conference opens. The Friday Oceanfront Soiree is another VIP only night and another opportunity to mingle with the speakers, sponsors, and other like-minded people. The Saturday Summit After Party closes it out the right way with a fun big closing party.

The VIP Summit Pass is capped at 200 people. At that size, you will meet everyone who matters. That’s the point.

08What about side events?

Side events are where a lot of the magic happens. They run before, during, and after the main conference days and range from intimate dinners and workshops to larger evening events. Some are included with your ticket. Some are available to purchase separately. Some are VIP only.

Think of them as the unofficial official program. The conversations that start on the main stage tend to continue at the side events, often with the same speakers in a much smaller room.

Check out the Side Events section for the current lineup. More will be announced as we get closer to February.

09What’s the refund and transfer policy?

Full refunds through December 1, 2026. Free transfers through January 28, 2027, no questions asked.

Life happens. If your situation changes and neither option works, email us and we’ll figure it out.

10Can I pay in Bitcoin?

Yes, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. On-chain and Lightning both work. Lightning settles fastest. Price is identical however you pay.

Grab your ticket here.

11Where should I stay?

Stay on property. The conference is built around the Fontainebleau and that’s where most of the action happens, on and off the clock. Click here for our preferred-rate room block. For off-property options, Victoire Voyages can help with suggestions, rates, and perks.

12What’s the dress code?

There isn’t one, but dress for where you might end up. Pool attire at the pool. What you’d normally wear at a conference for your role. Something decent for Miami nights that could go anywhere. After all, LIV is at the Fontainebleau. Miami in February is warm but not hot, so check the forecast before you pack.

13Dietary needs, accessibility, or quiet spaces?

The Fontainebleau is fully ADA-accessible. For anything else: dietary restrictions, nursing rooms, prayer space, quiet areas, or anything that helps you have a good experience, email us early. Earlier requests get better answers.

14Can I bring my kids?

Every attendee needs a paid ticket, including kids under 18.

For the Summit Pass, we offer a Kids Summit Pass for children attending with a parent or guardian.

For the VIP Summit Pass, we do not offer a Kids VIP Summit Pass. Parents with a VIP Summit Pass who want to bring their kids to VIP areas and VIP-only events will need to purchase a full-price VIP Summit Pass for them.

If your child looks 18 or older, we may ask for proof of age at the door. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for young children. Please email info@thesovereignsummit.com.

Miami Beach in February is also a great city to bring the family for the days around the conference.

15Will sessions be recorded or streamed?

No public livestream. Sessions will be recorded and released after the event. Subscribe below to stay up to date on release timing and everything else.

16What’s the code of conduct?

Treat people the way you’d want to be treated. That covers speakers, staff, and attendees. Personal photos are fine. Recording sessions without permission isn’t. Harassment of any kind ends your access immediately with no refund. This is a private event and we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone whose presence conflicts with the spirit of the room.

17Interested in sponsoring?

We work with a small number of partners whose product or company genuinely belongs in front of this room. If that sounds like you, email us or learn more here.
